Ok, so goldfish costume was a success. Now onto next year! Here are some ideas I have.

1. A Fraggle.

2. 1 eye, 1 horned, flying purple people eater

3. The Morton's salt girl

4. Charlie Chaplin

5. A Switcheroo. A kangaroo with a light switch on the pouch.

6. A Humanity. Half human. Half manatee.

7. Slutty Voldemort.

I recently created a Twitter account. Now, I'm still new to tweeting but so far I find it horribly confusing and increasingly pointless. What I've gathered is that it is essentially the status bar of Facebook... and nothing else. Also, the Twitter terminology is a little difficult to wrap your head around. On Facebook you say, "let's be friends. Friend me!" But the Twitter translation is something like, "I'm following you...". That's just creepy. And on Facebook you can 'comment' on someone's wall, on Twitter... well I'm not exactly sure how people interact on Twitter. I think the only way to actually comment on what someone says is to tweet it in your own space and 'tag' the person. I'm assuming to 'favorite' something is the equivalent of 'liking' something. I'm a little iffy on that too. I mean, I like... Diane Keaton, but she's not my favorite actress! My fear of commitment is too great to designate something as a favorite. But I guess Twitter is good for people who like to constantly change their status. If you change your status every hour on Facebook... you're kind of a tool. However there is something about Twitter that is mildly addicting. And now I have to keep it because I love bitching about it too much to delete it. Complaining is one of my favorite things to do, that's why I'm @PortWhine.
